Swank Audio Visuals adds COLORado™ 3 to Rental Inventory Swank Audio Visuals, headquartered in St. Louis, MO, recently added CHAUVET COLORado™ 3 units to their rental inventories, continuing a tradition of implementing cutting-edge technology that has made them a leader in the audio/visual industry for over 70 years. “The team at Swank Audio Visuals selected the CHAUVET COLORado™ 3 due the versatility of the fixture (three different fixtures in one); power connectors that can be easily daisy-chained together; as well as, the weight of the unit (18 lbs.),” stated Greg Diekemper, President, Swank Audio Visuals. The COLORado™ 3, a luminous intelligent wash bank, is fitted with 54 LEDs arranged into 3 pods, and feature RGB color-mixing with or without DMX input. In addition to an IP65 rating, the units feature loop-through cable and data wiring, and an interlocking case design. Diekemper stated, “With the wide color array and built-in special effects (strobe and color patterns) our clients now have a value-related product for both indoor and outdoor functions.” With functions and features that are on the leading edge of LED lighting technology, you would expect operating the COLORado™ 3 to be beyond the scope of many novices in the field, but Diekemper states that the opposite is true, “The COLORado™ 3 has an ‘ease-of-use’ that has been very well received by our team members in the field and our end-user clientele.” With the Poison/Ratt tour, the Jägermeister mobile stage at Ozzfest, the Virgin Music Festival among other installations under its belt, the COLORado™ series has made quite an impact in the production marketplace over the past year.
