LDI 2006: CHAUVET READY TO LED

CHAUVET is gearing up to present about 20 cutting-edge products, including a worldwide exclusive, at the upcoming 2006 LDI exposition in Las Vegas, booth# 553. The buzzword this year is LED. CHAUVET will be showing eleven LED-fitted products ranging from micro-thin strips to massive video screens. Included in this exciting presentation is the exclusive LED Shadow™, the first LED powered backlight to hit the market, posing a serious challenge to heavy, fragile blacklight cannons. Two other fixtures similar in design, the sleek and powerful LED Techno Strobe™, fitted with white diodes, and the colored LED Techno Strobe™ RGB will also premiere at LDI. Beyond being effective strobes, these lights can also display moving patterns. Taking a bold step in a brand new direction, the company will also introduce the DVwallTM HR, an indoor/outdoor LED video display board, built of modular panels. Outside of LED fixtures, CHAUVET will also showcase new additions to the popular Intimidator™ Series and flagship Q-Series™ as well as effects such as the Thruster™ strobe tube.   The Intimidator™ Spot is the first moving yoke in the Intimidator™ Series. It is extremely compact but its small size belies a superb performance with quality optics, bright colors and attractive new patterns. The Q-Series™ is gaining a new DMX effect to complement the very sought-after scanners and moving yokes in the line. New is the Q-Dream™, a 250- watt decoration/projection effect that combines prisms, gobos and over 40 individual dichroic colors to produce an unforgettable effect. LDI also offers the chance to meet CHAUVET's National Business Development Manager Bob Laino, if you haven’t already. It will be his first LDI show at the helm of CHAUVET’s sales team. CHAUVET PREMIERE:
A GIANT LEAP INTO LED VIDEO DISPLAY

With an IP-65 rating and a modular design for optimal flexibility and ease of installation, the DVwallTM HR is a dramatic, robust LED display option for distant viewing in entertainment venues, stadiums, theme parks, billboards, as well as the rental and staging markets.“The combination of quality LEDs, clever technology, superior materials and aggressive pricing creates unprecedented and unmatched value in the field,” CHAUVET CEO Albert Chauvet said. Delivering 16 million colors (24bit), the DVwallTMHR displays high-resolution graphics, animated gifs, Flash, PowerPoint, videos and images to delight even the most critical viewer. Each DVmoduleTM is 1/2 meter x 1/2 meter and houses 2,304 LEDs grouped in clusters. Each cluster acts as one single pixel. Possible configurations are endless using the DVW-Driver (sold separately). This optimal flexibility maximizes the designer's creative applications and speeds the return on investment for rental houses.
