On-board programming eliminates the
need for a console in certain applicat-
ions such as simple trade show lighting
or merchandising and display. Nine steps
can be saved in one program. Lenses
have an anti-reflective coating, which improves image quality and minimizes
leaks. A new and specialized glass re-
flector for the lamp harnesses the focal point, which results in an extremely high light output. The 2,000-hour MSD250W lamp can be turned on and off remotely from a console.

An internal thermal sensor automatically adjusts the fan speed based on internal cooling requirement, allowing quieter operation.

A multi-tap transformer allows selection
of the following voltage operating range: 110V, 115V, 208 V, 230V, 240 V at either 50Hz or 60Hz.

Lamp: 2,000-hour MSD 250W.

CHAUVET IN ACTION

Suburban nirvana: CLUB EDEN

Amid quaint strip malls in South Florida’s suburban Broward County, rises Eden, a free-standing 8,500-square-foot, 2-story nightclub frequented mostly by an upscale clientele who welcomes the chance to party close to home in a first-rate establishment with the glitz and pizzazz of a South Beach venue.    With five distinct rooms, including four dancing floors, Eden is a series of clubs within a club. Owner John Jaquet saw a sizzling opportunity to cater to a diverse clientele of young professionals, executives, college students and bon vivants of all ages seeking alternatives to long trips toward the popular beach night scene.  The club is large enough to handle a crowd of well over 1,000 patrons but can also offer a very intimate ambience, thanks to its many distinct areas, including a chic VIP room.On a busy night, all five rooms welcome their own crowd, each with a different DJ and a different music style, from salsa to progressive and hip hop, all at once.

Each room has its own personality, “ or vibe” as John Jaquet put its. And lighting is key to it. A heavy arsenal of CHAUVET fixtures lits the entire venue and defines moods from one room to the next, from the main dance floor electrified by strobes, scanners and lasers to a relaxing lounge where patrons cozy up against a soothing backdrop of washed walls with rippling water effects.
