Realizing the need to provide simple, yet complete lighting solutions for bands, clubs, and mobile DJs, CHAUVET is premiering multiple lighting packages designed specifically for this market at this week’s NAMM Show in Anaheim, Ca. One of the most exciting packages is the CHAUVET ROCK-N’ LITE PACK™, a compact, yet powerful lighting system controllable by foot, ideal for touring bands..
When touring from club to club, bands often do not know what type of lighting to expect and therefore cannot plan lighting as an integral part of their show. The Rock-N’ Lite Pack™ eliminates the problem. It includes all you need to fully control every aspect of the show’s illumination: 2 Colorbank™ 8 wash lights, 2 tripod stands, 1 Colorbank™ foot controller and a 66ft linking cable. Thanks to the convenient switch foot controller, bands and performers can now easily enhance the mood of a ballad by dimming the lights and washing the stage in the color of their choice or kick off a burning set of up-tempo rock tunes by flashing vibrant, fiery hits or chases… without missing a note!
Each wash light incorporates eight, long life 50W lamps for a total of 400 watts of power per wash light. Each Colorbank™ comes with eight colored gels in red, yellow, blue and green and offers 16 built-in beat activated programs. Power is switchable 110V/ 230V to accommodate international touring needs.
CHAUVET at NAMM is also premiering three Stage Wash™ Packages: Stage Wash™ 950 Pack, Gig Pack and Color Par Pack. Each package includes 2 units of brand new DMX RGB color wash fixtures and offer the flexibility of foot control.
With a striking colored box package, the Stage Wash™ 950 Package is an irresistible value for the performer seeking hands-free control, brightness and the ability to project a wide spectrum of colors. OCEANA™: BOUND TO MAKE WAVES
The exclusive 2-channel Oceana is the newest CHAUVET DMX effect, suited for large venues and long nights. Generously outfitted with 40 light and dark blue lenses, Oceana projects a multitude of azure rays that create a wave-like pattern, thanks to an exclusive S-shaped, 800-watt linear lamp rotating on a horizontal axis. One DMX channel controls the speed of the bulb’s rotation. The second DMX channel controls black out and strobe-like effects. In the absence of DMX signal, Oceana responds to sound with a dynamic combination of beam rotation and strobing. Multiple units can be linked and synchronized.
